So Beautiful Australian Single

Thanks Janie I managed to catch it on Rage this morning.

Now just how many versions of this song are there? and am I correct that the version in the video is only available on the UK single [img]eek.gif[/img]

At the last count I think there are 4 versions of SB so far, Barb. The Spike Stent mix which is the one you hear in the video, the original demo version, the radio edit and the Lee Groves remix which is on the Australian single. I think the video version is only on the UK single and I think the one on the Autralian listing is the radio edit version (track 1 that is). Confusing isn't it? [img]eek.gif[/img]

I have never known so many different versions of things as with the TMC album either! 4 Different colour artworks for the cover, limited editions etc. There was talk at one point of different track listings for different releases in different countries but I've heard no more on that.

The current info on the DVD bit of TMC is that it contains videos of IWY, TTM&B, TMD, BMSM, IKILY, C&B and Hold Me plus behind the scenes footage which is essentially the Parallel Lives Documentary. So the only new items are the two new single tracks, So Beautiful and California Home and the previously unreleased video for Hold Me. It's supposed to be a region 0 which is region free so it should play everywhere [img]smile.gif[/img] When the limited edition will be released I'm not sure. Latest info is that the japanese one was put back to 18th January 2006. Don't know about other areas.

Barb, I think the only way you'll be able to get hold of the original cover artwork for the So Beautiful single is to try and get hold of a promo after release date. There'll be quite a few up on Ebay [img]wink.gif[/img]

What original cover artwork?? Is that the stormy cloudy one that was originally on the homepage with the snippet??

Who knows what I will end up with. Prolly the Aussie single.. unless i order of CDwow then it could be the UK one. I will probably get TMC in one of those awful coloured covers.. whatever one is sent lol

But I will probably be late in getting all of this as starting tomorrow I am studying for exams followed b y exams till about the 10th o f November.

The SB video was nice but more exciting for me this weekend is Maxtv are counting down the top 200 Australian Songs prior to the ARIA awards tonight and I saw the original aussie versions of Break Me Shake Me and I Want You....that was really [img]cool.gif[/img]

I really wish I could buy a copy of the SB single in the original cover because for reasons I just can't explain that cover conveys something magical to me personally. At this stage I've decided not to buy the single (just d/l the new song) and wait for the album which I have pre-ordered, hopefully with dvd content...as long as said dvd content is the original aussie versions, because I have the others on the Story So Far.

comes back to add: flicking channels and just saw Darren doing Lost Without You from the 2003 ARIAs...still as mesmerising as the first time! That man's voice with just a piano is just amazing [img]smile.gif[/img]
